The celebration of Earth Day at Don Bosco Kep ended with the meditation ceremony at 6PM in front to the Don Bosco Birth House. Joining our faiths as Christians, Buddhists, aborigines and other spiritualities, we recognize our first belonging to Mother Earth and to this wonderful planet that is the main platform of the Creation. After so many decades of astronomic research over the possibilities to find life in other planets or places of the vast cosmos, we still waiting for an alien communication, while the industrial civilization is bringing degradation to the whole biosystem of the entire planet. Although it is important to continue in the research of what is also important for the same survival of our planet – thanks to science and technology we could avoid cataclysms in a near future, it is also vital to invest in the preservation, protection and promotion of our Common Home, our Mother Planet, the only known astronomical place where we can stand and live.
