Working in the fields of electrical and electronic engineering requires a practical understanding of the installation, repair, and maintenance of various systems. This includes electrical systems, electronic equipment, air conditioning units, motors, and solar power technologies. Such work may be conducted in diverse settings, including companies, offices, retail stores, residential areas, public spaces, and airports. The curriculum is designed to encompass both theoretical knowledge and practical application. Hands-on experience is gained through activities such as repairing electrical devices, welding, and the design and installation of LED signage. Students are expected to complete numerous assignments, which will enhance their research skills through internet resources. Additionally, they will have opportunities to assist in providing electrical services on campus or for external clients. As part of their academic journey, all students are required to undertake an internship within a company and compose a thesis.

admission requirement
The applicant must have finished grade 12 (either pass or fail) and must be interested in technical work.
