World Ocean Day 2025 
| Don Bosco Technical School Kep
On June 8, 2025, students from Don Bosco Technical School Kep joined the celebration of World Ocean Day under the theme “Catalyzing Action for Our Ocean and Climate” at Phum Thmey Fishing Community, Kep Province. The event included the “100,000 Mangrove Campaign”, supported by CWDCC, ActionAid Cambodia, 12 partner organizations, and local communities from Kampot and Kep.
Over 300 participants, including government officials, community leaders, youth, and private sector members, gathered to promote marine protection and restore mangrove forests in 4 provinces: Kampot, Kep, Koh Kong, and Preah Sihanouk. 
The project is funded by the EU and ActionAid Cambodia to strengthen community roles in environmental conservation and sustainable governance.
A strong start to build a movement for protecting our oceans for future generations!
