Don Bosco Kep team takes on Bokor Mountain Trail 2026

KEP, Cambodia — Teachers and students from Don Bosco Kep took part in the Bokor Mountain Trail 2026, joining participants from across Cambodia and beyond for a demanding outdoor challenge on Bokor Mountain.

Representing Don Bosco Kep were Visal from the Electrical Department and Piseth from the IT Department, together with students from both departments.

The Bokor Mountain Trail is an endurance running event held in the mountainous landscape of Preah Monivong Bokor National Park, in Kampot province. Participants face steep climbs, uneven trails and changing mountain conditions as they make their way through the natural environment of Bokor.

For the Don Bosco Kep group, however, the event was about more than completing a difficult trail.

Taking part together gave teachers and students an opportunity to step outside the classroom and share a different kind of experience. The challenge required cooperation, determination and perseverance, while also strengthening the sense of community among the participants.

For Visal and Piseth, accompanying students from the Electrical and IT departments was also an opportunity to represent Don Bosco Kep beyond its campus and demonstrate the values that are part of daily life at the school: teamwork, commitment and mutual support.

The experience brought together students from different departments and encouraged them to support one another as they faced the physical demands of the trail.

Don Bosco Kep congratulates Visal, Piseth and all the students who participated in the Bokor Mountain Trail 2026 for their energy, enthusiasm and determination.

Their participation is a reminder that education extends beyond the classroom, through shared challenges, new experiences and the opportunity to grow together.

Don Bosco Kep — Learning, growing and moving forward together.
