Kep Province, Cambodia _ On August 26, 2026 Don Bosco Technical School, Kep Province, organized a seminar (TOT) under the theme “Ancestral Wisdom, Community Building, and the Salesian Preventive System for Cambodian Youth.” The program began on Day 1 with a focus on providing knowledge and sharing experiences with young people to strengthen their capacity for community development.
During the first day’s activities, students studied and discussed the value of ancestral wisdom, which serves as an important foundation for living, unity, and problem-solving within communities. Through presentations, group discussions, and experience sharing, participants deepened their understanding of the role of youth in preserving and continuing the good knowledge passed down from ancestors.
The seminar also highlighted the importance of building strong, united communities with active youth participation. Sharing knowledge about the Salesian Preventive System was another key component, helping young people gain awareness and engage more effectively in preventing various issues within their communities.
This TOT seminar represents a significant opportunity for Cambodian youth to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and sense of responsibility, enabling them to apply what they have learned and share it further with their peers and communities.
