Cambodia, Kep Province, On March 6, 2025, Don Bosco Technical School Kep celebrated the 115th Anniversary of International Women’s Day to promote and honor women around the world and to raise awareness about gender equality and women’s rights. The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Ou Sokunthy, Head of the Department of Women’s Affairs of Kep Province, Father Ly Somnang, teachers, and all students of the school.
During the event, Ms. Ou Sokunthy delivered a speech about the roles and rights of women, encouraging greater participation of women in the development of society. She emphasized that women should have the right to pursue higher education just like men.
International Women’s Day is an important occasion to remember the struggles of women in the past and to encourage society to continue working together to build a world of equality, justice, and opportunities for women.
